Hello there!

Growing up I was obsessed with cartoons and they heavily affected how I saw myself and the world around me. I took in the stories they told, the moral choices characters made, and character arcs that happened on screen as ideas for how to live my own life. 

 

Now that I work in animation, I want to treat the content I create with great care for those that will watch it, especially kids and young adults. Animation sparks conversations, gives context to wordless inner turmoil, shapes what can be viewed as right and wrong, and is a sharable experience that can bring friends and strangers together. I want to craft content that touches on issues I relate to, stares down our societies shortcomings, and confronts tropes that are otherwise accepted as ‘the norm’ that are truly toxic and harmful.
